Elio Stocco (Director and Principal Risk Consultant) hosted a webinar on ‘Ensuring Safety in Occupied Buildings’. Elio provided expert insight about strategies and approaches for the management of risk to new and existing occupied buildings. He highlighted the importance of using industry developed planning strategies for locating buildings in process areas, and how a risk-based approach can be used to address legacy issues of buildings in process plant areas where a consequence-based approach cannot be used further.
