Michela Leedow
Principal Risk Consultant
Michela is a chemical engineer with over ten years’ experience in manufacturing and risk management. In this time, Michela has worked closely with a number of Major Hazard Facilities in the preparation of Safety Cases, reviewing changes, implementing management for controls and participation in audits. This has included a two-year secondment to Viva Geelong Refinery as an integral member of the process safety implementation team.
Michela has carried out the role of facilitator and technical secretary for a number of HAZOP studies. She also has extensive experience in consequence modelling, hazard identification and layers of protection analysis (LOPA) workshops, as well as bowtie and LOPA analysis. Additionally, Michela has assisted Comcare to conduct safety management system auditing for multiple Major Hazard Facilities.

Masters of Engineering (Biomedical) Hons1, University of New South Wales.
