R4Risk is excited to be working with Outotec on the delivery of their Ausmelt smelter project for PT TIMAH in Mentok, Indonesia. Outotec is providing the engineering design for upgrading PT TIMAH’s existing tin smelting facilities to Ausmelt core technology. R4Risk’s role was to support the project team through the delivery of process safety and risk assessment studies throughout the various stages of the project, including a HAZID and HAZOP. The HAZOP was recently conducted at the PT TIMAH offices in Jakarta. The photograph below was taken following the successful completion of the HAZOP in Jakarta. It has been a rewarding experience for R4Risk to work with such a professional project team on an international scale whilst observing the project mature through each study. By partnering with R4Risk, Outotec has been able to achieve consistency and efficiency in their risk management approach throughout the project stages. With further risk assessment studies to be completed, R4Risk is pleased to continue our partnership with Outotec by providing comprehensive risk management services.
