Who we are
Established in 2008, R4Risk is an independent company providing specialist consulting services in the areas of risk management and process safety.
As experts in process safety and risk management, R4Risk has one of the largest in-house teams in Australia specifically dedicated to this field. All of R4Risk’s consultants are highly qualified chemical engineers, and have an extensive history assisting organisations, both large and small, to manage risks associated with their activities. Within our team, our experience includes workshop facilitation, regulatory support to government departments, conducting in-depth consequence analysis and risk assessments.

R4Risk’s mission is to assist its clients to manage their risks effectively, efficiently and sustainably, through technically superior risk management.
We aim to provide effective risk management by ensuring that the proposed approaches comprehensively identify the risk drivers, the key risk controls and the overall risk issues.
Developing a sound understanding of the risk issues that are being faced is a fundamental aspect of making good risk-based decisions. R4Risk’s tailored approaches are based on this principle, which, coupled with experience and independence, ensures the provision of the best impartial and objective advice.
We develop efficient solutions by developing specific tailored approaches to meet our clients’ requirements and budgets, with the understanding that not “one size fits all”. We optimise the risk management processes by utilising our clients’ valuable internal resources.
Our approaches are developed such that they are readily integrated into existing corporate risk and safety management systems. This ensures that they do not overburden our clients with cumbersome additional systems. This approach also promotes ongoing use of the systems and processes by the clients’ personnel, in so doing improving individual and organisational knowledge.
