Matthew Coutts

Matthew graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science (Applied Chemistry) and a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering), achieving First Class Honours.

Since joining R4Risk in 2026, Matthew has worked across a range of projects, covering various aspects of process safety, across a range of industry sectors, including aerospace, mining and chemicals.  His work has included Safety Cases for Major Hazard Facilities, consequence modelling for fires and toxic releases, bowtie analysis, as well as HAZOP and HAZID studies.
