Simon is a Chemical and Process Engineer with over twenty years’ experience in design consulting predominantly working in chemical, mining, pharmaceutical, FMCG and nuclear industries in Ireland and the UK. From 2020 to 2024, he worked in the Design Safety group at DPS Engineering and Construction producing project safety deliverables.  Simon’s expertise includes HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, safety in design and hazardous area classification.  Simon has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical and Process Engineering at the University of Canterbury (NZ) and is a Chartered Engineer with the Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining (UK).
