Celeste Thomson
Celeste is a chemical and biomedical engineer with qualifications from the University of New South Wales. She graduated with a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Honours) and a Master of Biomedical Engineering in 2023.
Since joining the team, Celeste has actively contributed to a range of technical risk and safety projects for major organisations, with a focus on Major Hazard Facility (MHF) Safety Case development and structured risk assessment workshops. She has supported clients across various industries, including the warehousing and logistics, fuel terminal and chemical processing sectors.
Her experience includes consequence modelling (fire, explosion and toxic vapour dispersion), fire safety study development and updates, hydraulic analysis of firewater systems and the preparation of emergency response and pre-incident planning documentation. She has acted as both scribe and technical analyst in structured risk studies, including bowtie, HAZOP, HAZID and risk assessment workshops.
