Celeste Thomson
Risk Consultant
Celeste is a chemical and biomedical engineer with qualifications from the University of New South Wales. She graduated with a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Honours) and a Master of Biomedical Engineering in 2023, after which she relocated to Melbourne to join the R4Risk team as a Risk Engineer.
Since joining the team, Celeste has actively contributed to a variety of client projects as a technical analyst and scribe, including consequence modelling such as fire and toxic vapour dispersion modelling, fire safety studies, hydraulics analysis on firewater systems, bowtie, HAZID and HAZOP workshops, and developing Pre-Incident Plans (PIPs) for major Australian organisations.
