Ed is a chemical engineer with 35 years’ experience as a Process Engineer in engineering design and plant operations in the hydrocarbon, petrochemical, chemical and mining industries.

Ed has extensive experience in project scope definition, proposal and engineering cost estimate development, project development, including FEED preparation and implementation of detailed design and plant operations. He also has specific operating experience gained during the four years of process engineering support to Woodside Energy’s Karratha Onshore Gas Treatment Plant. He is an experienced leader of the process design function on projects and as a company’s Process Engineering Functional Leader.

Ed is an experienced workshop facilitator involving a wide range of risk management and process safety methodologies, such as HAZOP, CHAZOP, hazard studies and design reviews. He has facilitated many HAZOPs for a wide range of industries, including onshore/offshore oil and gas, coal gasification projects, mining and water treatment facilities.
