The World Chlorine Council Safety Seminar was held on 25 – 26 July this year at the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle by Rydges, Perth. This is a partnership between World Chlorine Council (WCC) and Australia producers, Coogee, Ixom and Nufarm. The seminar explored topics such as process safety management, employee engagement and mechanical integrity.
Michela Leedow (Senior Risk Engineer at R4Risk) was one of the presenters on day-one of this seminar. In her presentation, ‘Safety Cases: A Consultant’s Experience’, she discussed the success factors and pitfalls associated with the development of Safety Cases, observed from many years of consulting experience in assisting a variety of hazardous facilities develop Safety Cases.
